บุคคลTruhelka and Glück
An archaeologist who drew it and a doctor who published it, 1894
ค.ศ. 1,894 – ค.ศ. 1,900 · Vienna, 1894
คืออะไร
The two men who recorded Bosnian sicanje in the 1890s: Ćiro Truhelka, who illustrated the designs, and Leopold Glück, who published the paper.
ฉบับยาว
Glück's title says exactly what it is: Die Tätowirung der Haut bei den Katholiken Bosniens und der Herzegowina, Vienna, 1894. A doctor and an archaeologist, writing for an Austro-Hungarian readership about the people their empire had just occupied.
Inference — that pairing recurs across this whole site. The professions that produced the record are medicine, administration and archaeology, which is why so much of it reads as measurement of a body rather than description of a practice.
