His 1975 Eyrie South Block Reserve placed tenth in a 1979 Paris tasting, Robert Drouhin re-ran the comparison in Beaune the following year, and the Burgundians started buying land. Adelsheim chaired the committee that petitioned for the AVA in 1983.",
