Pai's evening market runs down the main street every night in the season: food stalls, music, and most of the town's visitors in one place.
The long version
Inference — this is the most divisive thing on the circuit and it is worth saying plainly what it is. Pai in high season is busy, loud, young and commercial. Wikipedia's article records that between November and March the town has traffic jams and runs short of electricity, water and petrol.
