The story Cited

Henri Gouges found a white-berried shoot in his Nuits-Saint-Georges vineyard and propagated it; the wine is sold as Nuits-Saint-Georges blanc. Inference — nothing published suggests it is more than a selected mutation of the pinot noir already growing there.
