What it is

A Chiang Mai district in its own valley, reached from the loop only by Route 1263 or over the Inthanon massif.

The long version

Inference — Mae Chaem is the town that turns the loop into a choice. Arriving here from Khun Yuam means the 1263 has been ridden and the circuit has been halved; the road on from here climbs over the Inthanon side and drops to Chom Thong on Route 108.

It is a weaving district and the cloth is its own subject, which this project has not yet written up.

Now

Small, and the services are small with it. Fill up in Khun Yuam before the cut, not here after it.
