Spudnut Shops advertised with a cartoon Mr. Spudnut, who turned up in advertisements, in restaurants and in parades, under the slogan "Coast to coast… Alaska to Mexico". Dunkin' Donuts introduced its own mascot, Dunkie, in 1954, a year after its first logo.
