The hotelscited

Winnemucca 1898, Elko 1910, a building hauled to Gardnerville from Virginia City in 1896. Every one of them went up where the railroad met the sheep country, and every one fed men who had nowhere else to eat and nobody who spoke their language.

The state cocktailcited

Nevada designated the Picon Punch its official state cocktail in 2025. The bitter it is built on has never been imported from France in any reliable quantity; the version Nevada just made official is made in Reno.
