Now

Deli hours are weekday mornings and lunch. Then twice a week the room turns into a bar: pintxos out on the counter, Basque cider on tap, and from 4:30 to 6 a pintxo with a pote — a pint of beer, a glass of house wine, or a glass of sagardoa — for $5 the pair. On Fridays you can watch or play mus.

Before

Anamarie Lopategui started it on her own Basque side, with sandwiches. In December 2016 it moved into a restored historic building at 460 Commercial Street and grew a pintxo counter and a bar. Choch Goicoechea and Carolyn took it on in October 2022.

Note

Ogi is bread in Euskara. The name is the shortest statement of purpose in this directory.
