น้ำพุร้อนผาบ่อง
Public pools and private tubs, eleven kilometres south of Mae Hong Son, right beside Route 108.
Chainwit. · CC BY 4.0What it is
A developed hot spring on the southern road out of Mae Hong Son, with a communal foot pool and rooms where the water is run into a tub for you.
The long version
Inference — this one is on the route rather than up a side road, which on a circuit where every detour costs daylight is most of what makes it usable. It is the first thing on Route 108 going south, so it works as a stop on the way out of Mae Hong Son rather than an expedition.
Tradition holds — the private room with a tub is the arrangement at Thai developed springs, and it is what to ask for if sitting in a communal pool in a swimsuit is not what you want. A foot pool costs less and does most of the work.
