A list of wing joints, published by Visit Buffalo Niagara, the region's tourism bureau. It launched in April 2018 with twelve stops and carried fourteen when read on 16 September 2026, spread from Getzville and Amherst down through the city to East Aurora, Hamburg and Orchard Park. The trail's own words for what is on it: "14 neighborhood pubs and tucked-away corner taverns." There is no ranking, no scoring and no judging — it is an itinerary, which is exactly what makes it useful evidence.

Spectrum News covered the launch on 12 April 2018. The twelve opening stops were the Anchor Bar, Bar-Bill Tavern in East Aurora, Blackthorn on Seneca Street, Cole's on Elmwood, Doc Sullivan's on Abbott Road, Duff's in Amherst, Elmo's in Getzville, Gabriel's Gate on Allen Street, Gene McCarthy's on Hamburg Street, Glen Park Tavern in Williamsville, the Lenox Grill on North Street and Mammoser's Tavern in Hamburg.

Inference — a list a tourism bureau maintains is a record of which rooms a city is willing to send a stranger to, and it changes when a room closes or a reputation moves.

Drive it or walk the city stretch. Stops sit in four groups — north suburbs, the city, the south towns, and the stadium side in Orchard Park — and nothing obliges a visitor to do them in order or to finish. Each stop is a working bar with its own hours; the trail publishes addresses, not opening times.
