When they’re open
Nobody has published this one's days where we could read them. That is a gap in this directory, not a closed door — call ahead, and see the Sunday question.
The story Cited · wp-leonard-s-bakery
Margaret and Frank Leonard Rego Sr. opened the bakery in 1952. Rego's mother pushed him to sell malasadas — the holeless Portuguese pastry Portuguese immigrants had brought to the islands at the turn of the twentieth century. Leonard's carried it to a far wider audience than it had before.
A franchise location opened in Japan in 2008.
