แม่สลอง หรือชื่อทางการว่าสันติคีรี เป็นหมู่บ้านบนดอยที่สืบเชื้อสายจากทหารจีนคณะชาติ ปัจจุบันมีชื่อเสียงเรื่องไร่ชาและชาชั้นดี หลายร้านให้ชิมชาพร้อมชมวิวไร่

Mae Salong, officially Santikhiri, is a hill village descended from Nationalist Chinese soldiers, now known for its tea gardens and fine tea. Many shops offer tasting with a view over the fields.

แม่สายกับชายแดนเมียนมาร์

แม่สายเป็นเมืองชายแดนติดเมียนมาร์ มีสะพานข้ามแม่น้ำสายเชื่อมสองประเทศ และมีตลาดสินค้าหลากหลาย เป็นปลายทางเหนือสุดของถนนสายสำคัญจากเชียงราย

Mae Sai is a border town on the Myanmar frontier, with a bridge over the Sai River joining the two countries and a busy market. It is the northern end of a main road from Chiang Rai.
