By the river a large golden Buddha sits on a high pedestal, facing the water. It is a landmark of the area and a place of respect for visitors.

หอฝิ่น (Hall of Opium)

The Hall of Opium is a large museum telling the history of opium from its early use to the campaign against the trade, in a detailed series of exhibits.

ใกล้กันมีพิพิธภัณฑ์ขนาดเล็กชื่อบ้านฝิ่น แสดงเครื่องมือและวัตถุจากการค้าฝิ่นในชีวิตประจำวันของยุคก่อน ดูง่ายและเป็นส่วนตัวกว่าหอฝิ่น

Nearby a smaller museum, the House of Opium, shows tools and objects from everyday life in the opium era. It is simpler and more intimate than the Hall of Opium.

บนเขาริมแม่น้ำมีวัดพระธาตุดอยปูเข้า ขึ้นบันไดไปแล้วจะเห็นทิวทัศน์ของแม่น้ำและสามประเทศจากมุมสูง เป็นจุดที่เงียบสงบสำหรับมองภาพรวมของพื้นที่

On the hill above the river, Wat Phra That Doi Pu Khao stands. Climbing its stairs opens a view of the river and the three countries from above, a quiet place to take in the whole area.
