Drawn in Equal Earth, so a square centimetre of Nigeria stands for the same square kilometres as a square centimetre of Norway. A Mercator would have inflated the far north, which is where the least of this material comes from, and shrunk the equator, which is where the most of it does — the picture would have argued something the records do not.

Every place, as a point
Markets, workshops, shrines, dig sites and the museum rooms where a lot of the rest of it ended up. Every point was placed by hand from a published address or coordinate — there is no open dataset of amulet stalls — and each record says how close its point is.
The same world, eight times
Red is the countries where this atlas has a record of that kind. A blank is a blank in the atlas, not an absence in the world.
Which halves of the world
A blank country means no record here names it. Australia is blank on purpose and /story/what-this-atlas-does-not-print says why.

Named but not filled: Singapore, Tonga, Vatican City, Hong Kong, Isle of Man, Maldives, Malta. Named by a record but not filled on the map: the 1:110m sheet this atlas draws from has no outline small enough to carry them. They are listed under the map.
