A 750-bed hospital at Four Bungalows in Andheri West, Mumbai, opened in 2009 and built by the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group. It runs over thirty departments and states more than 410 doctors, and it holds four accreditations at once: Joint Commission International, NABH, NABL for its laboratories and the College of American Pathologists.

The hospital was conceived by the cardiac surgeon Nitu Mandke and completed after his death in 2003 under Anil Ambani, opening in 2009. It has since been described as carrying a run of firsts for India and for Asia, among them a three-room intra-operative MRI suite and an EDGE radiosurgery system.

Inference — the equipment list is the hospital's pitch, and it aims at a particular patient. A three-room intra-operative MRI is not bought to compete on the price of a knee; it is bought to keep neurosurgical referrals in Mumbai that would otherwise leave the country.
