FMRI in the trade. The city is Gurugram on paper and Gurgaon in every address ever written; both appear on the hospital's own pages.

The headquarters hospital of Fortis Healthcare, in Sector 44 of Gurugram on the southern edge of Delhi. It is the group's referral centre for neurosciences, oncology and transplant work, and it sits in the Delhi National Capital Region cluster that competes with Chennai for India's inbound patient trade.

The story Cited

Fortis Healthcare is the second of India's large corporate hospital companies, and IHH Healthcare — the Malaysian group that also owns Gleneagles, Mount Elizabeth, Prince Court and Acibadem — held a 31.1 per cent controlling stake in it as of the reporting read for this record. That single fact links this hospital to four others in this directory across three countries.

The hospital appeared in the 2022 Newsweek and Statista listing for India and has been described as a smart hospital in its own reporting.

Inference — the Gurugram location is not incidental. Sector 44 is twenty minutes from the international airport at Delhi and on the same road as the corporate offices whose staff insurance pays for a good part of the private bed base. A hospital sited for an airport is sited for people who arrive by plane, whichever passport they hold.

How it works Trade practice

Trade practice — the Delhi NCR hospitals work the inbound trade through facilitators and through embassies: a large share of the foreign patients in this corridor come from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Iraq and East Africa, arrive on a medical visa arranged around an emailed estimate, and are met at the airport. This record carries no figure for that trade, because none was found published by the hospital or by a regulator.

Today Cited

As of 16 September 2026 the hospital's own website refused this project's requests, so nothing here is read off it. The bed count, the opening year, the accreditations and any published price are therefore absent rather than estimated, and this record is marked for verification. What is carried is the address and the point, from OpenStreetMap, and the group's ownership and listing from reporting.

about those numbersNo number on this record. The hospital's own site returned a refusal to every request made on 16 September 2026 and no regulator's register read here names its bed count. Absence here means not found by this project, not that the hospital publishes nothing. (2026-09-16) · source
