The trade word for what it does is facilitator. It calls itself a concierge, which is the same job with a better chair.

A medical-travel facilitator based in Chiang Mai, working with patients from the United States. It posts indicative prices for every procedure it routes, charges a flat fee rather than a commission on the treatment, and puts an interpreter in the consultation. As of 17 September 2026 its price index carries 73 procedures across 12 specialties, from orthopaedics and dental through cardiovascular, fertility, gender-affirming surgery and oncology to infusion therapies sold outside any approved indication.

The story Inference

The facilitator is the least regulated link in this whole chain. No country on the cast list licenses them, the content analyses that exist — Penney and colleagues read seventeen Canadian broker sites in 2010 — found that most published no risk information and few named an accreditation, and a broker's incentive usually sits on the side of the sale.

The three things worth reading on any of them are therefore structural rather than reputational: how they are paid, whether the price is posted before the consultation, and who they answer to when it goes wrong. This one is paid a stated flat fee rather than a share of the hospital bill, posts a price index, and publishes a piece on what recourse a foreign patient actually has under Thai law — which is an unusual thing for a broker to write down, because the answer is not flattering to the trade.

Inference — the flat fee is the part that changes the arithmetic. A facilitator paid a percentage of the treatment earns more when the patient buys the larger operation at the dearer hospital; one paid a fixed fee does not, whatever else is true of it.

The company's own site states that a person answers within a day, that the patient pays the local rate rather than a foreigner tariff, that a professional interpreter attends every appointment, and that "every price on the table before you commit". Its wider expatriate practice covers visas, banking and relocation alongside the treatment, which is the shape a facilitator takes when its clients are residents rather than visitors.

Its price index names the hospitals each procedure routes to — Bumrungrad, Bangkok Hospital, MedPark, Vejthani, Kamol, Preecha, Rutnin and others — which is more than most facilitators publish.
